National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual opportunity to raise awareness for early detection.
Nearly 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer in their lifetime. It's the second most common kind of cancer in women. As you know, many survive if the cancer is found early and treated. At Women's Health Consultants we encourage our patients to get annual mammograms. Take this time also to remind the important women in your life to do so as well.
You can know your risk by visiting your physician annually, and staying proactive.
Take this assessment to give you insight into your risk, and make your well visit and mammogram appointment today!
